| Bio: | ![]() Character Information Name: Saint True Name: Doyle Callaghan Gender: Male Age: 19 Birthday: 24th December 2002 Greatest Ambition: In a world full of nothing but hard times and fighting Saint knows the only ambition he has is more of a goal. His goal is to model the new world, though his leaders may not know it yet, Saint's on his own mission to better the world and get rid of those who don't belong in it. Physical Description: Doyle was once a weedy kid with no muscle on his body and no fat to speak of. He often got picked on by the other kids telling him he was weak boy and as middle school came to an end Doyle worked hard over the summer to diminish those names and pre-conceptions. With various weight lifting sessions, relentless running and eating more protein shakes than you could shake a stick at Doyle wasn't any bulkier than before but his muscles were well defined. His veins stuck up from under the think sheen of stretched skin that covered his arms, he has strong legs and his torso is one a girl could swoon at. He also wears thin wire frame glasses from time to time, mostly for reading. Distinguishing Marks: He has a crimson beaded and black rosary tattooed around his neck, a reminder to him that his religion is very important to succeed in life. Sexual Orientation: Straight Single or taken: Single Best friend: …'Flower' Personality: Though they say the son of a rich businessman, devout Catholic and Irishman is to be trusted…you should never trust Doyle Callaghan. Though he swears he is true to those who are closest to him, he is no stranger to climbing over others to get what he wants. Though in this world things are not as they should be and sometimes he has to bow down to people higher up than him Doyle believes that one day judgement day will come and purify the world leaving him in charge. He tends to have a god complex, though he doesn't say it out right he does act like he has the divine right and is just cunning enough to get away with it, while instilling some fear in people, even those who are in charge of him. He does swear loyalty to one and that is Flower, finding her was the best thing that happened to him and although she can take care of herself, he will always be behind her making sure she does exactly as he has been asked to by the lord. If he doesn't like you he'll ignore you, give you a cold glare or simply ramble on about how you're going to hell with all the rest of the sinners around here. He knows that this near apocalyptic experience is his chance to fix the world Personal History: Mary Callaghan was a good catholic woman, she married a good Irish boy who owned his own business, got married in a traditional catholic church and remained abstinent until her wedding night. While her husband talked shop at work, figuring out various ways to make more money out of the mines Mary worked at home, looking after and nurturing her children until their father came home and spent no more than half an hour with them all figuring that was enough. Mary was a caring soul who sometimes cursed her easy fertility, Ireland was starting to become exceedingly poor and Patrick was eager to leave but the announcement of their son (and hopefully final one) Patrick stayed long enough to see his son born. After the birth of Doyle Patrick Callaghan, Mary watched over her family of four children, nurturing them all and raising them to be good God abiding people. They were a polite group of children who stuck together through most things, went to church (and mostly enjoyed it) attended good Catholic schools and played outside until dark before coming to dinner and saying grace. Even with the conflicts between the Protestants and Catholics their mother did not give up on teaching her children the Catholic way of life, she urged her children to do as best as they could to spread the teachings of the lord and remain loyal to their faith. The Callaghan's lived in Ireland until Doyle was eleven years old but even with 'The Troubles' being long gone in Ireland the pressure and hate crime against Catholics from the Protestants wasn't proving to be any good for Patrick's business so he moved his family out to Sundance Wyoming. At first Doyle didn't like America, people awed at him for his accent, made fun of him for being scrawny (they weren't as a result of far too much food!!) and some teased him for being as religious as he was. Some children branded him as a 'pikey', a traveller that didn't belong in the their country, despite his father getting in well with the oil business. Whilst Mary was sympathetic with her children's cries and understood why they were so hesitant to settle in she drew the line at fighting and as Doyle couldn't keep out of them she decided perhaps boarding school was where he belonged, his rebellion may not have been a lash against his religion but it was out against the way people refused to accept god as he had done. Boarding school is what changed Doyle. Though the transfer was to teach him respect for authority it made him bitter towards people, the teasing never stopped and while Doyle had some fellow students under his thumb (enough to help him defend himself and defer future conflicts) he decided that with these non-believers around things would be a lot less complicated, and the world would be a pleasant place. When things got bad at school Doyle often hid in the toilets, closing his eyes as he crouched up on the toilet seats so they couldn't see him and pray to god to help him. Sometimes he imagined a better world, free of sinners, free of evil and full of people who accepted God's love as he had done; he didn't understand why so little of the kids at his school had as much faith as he did. In hindsight perhaps the moments in the bathrooms were what shaped Doyle into who he became when it all fell apart, but then it was just a dream he never thought could become real. As the months dragged on at boarding school Doyle wisened up, though he was still known to some as the crazy religious kid his tormentors had stopped out of maturity (a miracle he never forgot to thank Jesus for) and he was left much to his own devices. After the summer of improving his image and coming out of puberty with some dignity and gathering some charm a lot of girls starting trying to catch his eye (some boys too though he drew the thick heavy line there), the girls were his first experience with losing his way on the road to praising the Lord but it seemed like a tiny issue compared with all the other wrong doings going on in the world. Back home he had received letters from his mother telling him that his father had gotten in well with the other share holders in oil and money was pouring in making them all very happy, but not happy enough to take him back home. For a teenage boy who had suffered peer torture, as Doyle had, the words and actions of his mother had made him resentful towards her, he found it hard to be a good religious boy with all this teenage temptation in his face. Though Doyle still believed in God some aspects of the religion weren't as important to him anymore, he did not loose his faith but it seemed to others that he could preach more than he practiced. He decided maybe voicing his opinions as he did were what made him unpopular and as he started to talk less and less of a new world, more people started to warm up to him. During Doyle's last year in the boarding school was when the virus seemed to be hitting out with people dying left right and centre. Some spoke of it being a scientific experiment gone wrong but Doyle saw it as judgement day finally coming; this was his chance to be judged with God, to be taken to heaven. But as the months progressed Doyle realised only elders were the ones dying, it was like Noah and the arc, the young were being left to make the earth a different place, to fix all the things that had gone wrong but he knew that with some of the young people around that wasn't going to be easy. So he set out in search of the haunted mansion. The haunted mansion had been a story circulating around the remains of the boarding, kids said that there was a girl in there who had gone insane, who had killed her own parents and killed whoever approached her. Doyle wanted to meet this girl. Some said Doyle had finally gone mad, others said Doyle was on a suicide mission but the only mission Doyle was now on was God's. Approaching the house had been hard, he'd dodged guards all over the place, kept to the shadows so as not to alert his presence to anyone; being transferred to a survivors camp would do him no good, he had a job to do. However Doyle wasn't stupid, he knew if this went wrong he could end up dead, he could end up like the various 'claimed' victims of the horror stories people told, but the fate of humankind rested on his shoulders and so he proceeded through the house. Entering the house was like holding a deep breath that Saint couldn't let out. This house felt so evil but yet, so innocent, so scared and so...lonely. It had been abandoned for months yet with all the 'dissapearances' it was like the house had never been touched by any outsider. Saint found the girl in a bedroom on her own, her eyes wide as she watched him slowly enter, his heart pounded against his chest as she beckoned him over to drink tea with her. God had been right in telling him to find this girl, she was not threatened by him and he was not afraid of her or her graveyard garden. He told her he was a good man and that he was sent on a mission from above and that she should help him because her soul would then be saved, and all her sins forgiven. Flower agreed and Saint took her with him as he travelled around for a safer place to stay...haunted houses were only off limits for so long. Joining the mountain lions had been easier than he had thought, he knew nothing of the tribes around here but being caught in a fight and watching Flower slay a threat to them both bought them a place. The leaders regarded Flower with caution but him with warmth...as much as could be given out considering he'd brought a ticking time bomb with him. She got sent to work though, taking care of all the dirty little deeds they neeed doing. Saint assisting her and letting her know it was the right thing to do. Power had made Saint hungry to do what he thought was right, though nobody ever told him what he was doing was actually as good as genocide. He wants to save this town one evil soul at a time. After the war After the Jackals took over and killed the leaders of the Mountain Lions Saint pretended to be on the same side as their leader Jax. However one evil soul killing innocents didn't sit well with Saint and he couldn't stay to see the very type of person he wanted to rid the world of, govern him. When instructed to kill Libby with Straight (his only friend in the tribe) both men decided that enough was enough and to kill the Wolf girl was fruitless and cruel Saint and Straight tried to bust her out of the Jackals captivity. In the efforts Straight died to save the two and Saint delivered the girl back to Wolf and begged safety in their tribe, ensuring them that they were not followed and offering up valuble information about the newcomers. He now resides in the city hidden deep in Wolf territory. Birth Location: Kilkenny, Southern Ireland Blood Family:Mary Callaghan (mother) – Dead Patrick Callaghan (father) – Dead Sinead Callaghan (sister) – Unknown Donny Callaghan (brother) - Unknown Seamus [shay-muss] Callaghan (elder brother) – If age was anything to go by he is presumed dead What tribe do they belong to if any?: Mountain Lions How long have they been with that tribe?: 1 year Personal Strengths: People tend to trust him when he speaks of faith in god, the accent does help to charm the ladies. He can detach himself from other people's conflicts and also tends not to get involved with anything that could provoke a physical fight…he doesn’t deal with his own battles. He's a witty person, cunning and quick enough to dodge compromising situations. He can be quite the charmer. Personal Weaknesses: He's arrogant and cocky. He sprouts about god but doesn’t practice in any traditional way causing people to become wary of him, he can loose trust as easily as he gains it in people. He has an intense weak spot for Flower and her well-being. He tends to practice less than he preaches, he believes in god but during his school days often lost sight of some aspects such as marriage before sex and other ideals that didn't always fit with American teen culture. Personal Skills and Training: Going to a private school did teach him to defend himself but it also taught him to lead others in doing his own dirty work. He's a sociopath with the ability to control anyone. Job that they have in the tribe or whatever they do to keep themselves alive if they’re alone: Doyle likes to think of himself as a preacher but is mostly a soldier (of the faith...) to the Lions, harnessing their weapon (Flower) PB: Joseph Gordon Levitt Plot ties Plot tie 1: Jax finding him Plot tie 2: Somebody finds out about his past with flower Plot tie 3: His relationship with Gemini Your Information Characters Insanejournal Name: SaintDoyle Your Name (Real or Internet): Fi Your Email Crazydiscodancinganyone@hotmail.co.uk Your Messengers(AIM, Yahoo or MSN): NurseFioona Link to color photo of PB for the Character page:http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x13/Chloe__M459/Celebs/normal_photoshoot-set-5_0007.jpg | |||||||||
